| Description | The Commission is to provide high quality theological education and spiritual development programs for lay and ordained people; to maintain and enhance the financial, property and human resources available to the Commission in order to strengthen our capacity to provide high quality educational programs and services; to engage lay and ordained people in the church and wider community, and ensure that there are high levels of access, participation and involvement in the various forms of ministry program offered. (2009) Ministries under the banner of MEC are and have been :- St. Francis' Theological College, Catechumenate, Household of Deacons, Continuing Personal & Ministerial Review, Anglican Children's Religious Education (ACRE), Anglican Youth Ministries (AYM)/Youth, Children and Families Ministry, Education for Ministry (EfM) Brisbane Diocesan (previously National), Brookfield Centre for Christian Spirituality (BCCS), Spiritual Direction, Discovery, Discernment and Development (includes Emmaus and Icthus), FAISS (Formative Anglican Induction Program for School Staff), RE in Anglican Schools, RE & Chaplainacy in State Schools, Faith Formation. |
