The Rev. Edgar Barstow is among our senior priests. One of the first students of the Brisbane Theological College (afterwards called St. Francis' College), he was ordained Deacon in 1902, and priest in 1903, and served the whole of his ministry in the Diocese of Brisbane. He retired in 1947. In these articles Mr. Barstow discusses the vital principle of unity, and argues that it is to be found in Jesus Christ - in Him we are one - and pleads that it should be realised and given effect to by Christians. "The New Jerusalem was never to be built by workers who are always at war with one another; nor can it be conceived of as a house for the specially privileged". 1. Problem 2.
