1935 Implemented Three Year Plan for reconstruction of diocese which was still suffering the effects of World War I and the Great Depression
  Reorganised method of parish appointments
  Attempted to improve academic qualifications of clergy
  Proposed amendments to draft constitution for Anglican Church in Australia
1936 Rekindled ongoing debate on reunion
1937 Succeeded in having Biblical Studies introduced into Arts Faculty at University of Queensland
  St Francis' College moved from Nundah to Bishopsbourne at Milton
  Introduces weekly broadcast of Compline service from Bishopsbourne Chapel
1938 Obtained diocesan control of church schools
  Involved in sectarian debate on State Aid for private schools
1939-1943 War years - Proponent of The Church Militant
1940 Lecture tour of America
  Pro-conscription - disillusioned with Australian politics
1942 Published "Has Britain Let Us Down?" - publication led ultimately to Wand's translation to Bath and Wells
1943 At end of Wand's episcopate, the first section of the Cathedral was completed and debt-free
